Last updated 31 July 2026. Plain-language summary of what we collect and why.

TempMail provides free, disposable email addresses. The service is designed to collect as little about you as possible — there are no accounts required to receive mail, and no personal profile is built around your usage.

What we store

When you generate an address, we store the address, a secret access token, and any messages sent to it so you can read them. We do not ask for your name, your real email, or any other personal detail to use the core service. Messages are held only so they can be delivered to your browser.

How long we keep it

Disposable inboxes and their messages are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity. You can also delete an address or an individual message at any time, which removes it immediately from our systems.

Optional accounts

If you choose to sign in (for Premium features), we store your email address to identify your account and, for paid plans, a billing reference from our payment provider. We never see or store full card details.

Third parties

We rely on a small set of providers to run the service: a cloud host for our servers, an email provider to deliver sign-in links, a payment processor for Premium, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. Each only receives the minimum needed to do its job.

Cookies & analytics

We use minimal cookies and lightweight analytics to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising.

Your choices

You can clear your local data at any time by deleting your addresses, and you can request deletion of an optional account by contacting us. Because disposable inboxes are public by design once shared, please do not use them for sensitive or important accounts.
