What TempMail is

TempMail (temporaryemail.cc) is a free tool that gives you a working email address in one click, with no signup. You use it to receive a confirmation link or a one-time code, read the message in your browser, and then throw the address away. There is a standard inbox for everyday use and a 10 Minute Mail option that self-destructs on a countdown.

The problem it solves

Almost every site now asks for an email before it will let you download a file, read an article, start a trial, or claim a coupon. Hand over your real address and it tends to end up on a marketing list — or in a data breach months later that you never hear about. TempMail puts a disposable address between you and all of that: the site gets a valid inbox, you get the one message you actually wanted, and your personal address stays private.

Why we built it

We wanted a temporary email tool that was genuinely fast and genuinely honest. Fast, because an inbox should be ready the moment the page loads and the verification code should be readable in one tap. Honest, because too many services in this space over-promise "total anonymity" they can't deliver. We'd rather tell you exactly how it works — which is what the Security and Privacy pages are for.

How it works, briefly

Generate an address, copy it, and paste it into any form that asks for email. Incoming mail is routed to a real inbox on our servers, cleaned to strip anything harmful, and shown to you in a sandboxed view within seconds — the inbox refreshes on its own. What we don't promise

A disposable address hides your real inbox — it is not a tool for guaranteed anonymity. Like any website, we and your network provider can see connection data such as IP addresses, and disposable inboxes are public by nature. So TempMail is the right tool for throwaway signups and verification codes, and the wrong tool for banking, account recovery, or anything you need to keep. When it matters, use your real email.

Responsible use
